Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We keep things plain.
1. Who We Are
NewFramez, Inc. operates the NewFramez platform — an AI-native video asset management workspace. When this policy refers to "NewFramez," "we," "us," or "our," it means NewFramez, Inc.

2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account Information
Name, email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text), workspace name, and optional phone number. Collected when you create an account.
User Content
Video files, audio files, thumbnails, transcripts, comments, scripts, brand kit assets, and any other files you upload to the platform. This content is stored on your behalf and belongs to you.
Usage Data
Log data including IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, features used, upload/download events, and timestamps. Used to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
Payment Information
We do not store your full card number. Payment details are collected and stored by our third-party payment processor. We receive only a transaction ID, last-four card digits, and subscription status.
Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies required to authenticate sessions. We also use analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. See our Cookie Policy for details and opt-out options.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
- Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, team invitations).
- Process payments and enforce subscription limits.
- Respond to support requests.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Analyze aggregated usage patterns to improve the product (always anonymized — we never use individual User Content for this purpose).
We do not sell your data. We do not use your private User Content to train AI models without explicit consent. We do not serve behavioral advertising.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and User Content for as long as your account is active. When you delete a file it is removed from listings immediately and permanently deleted from storage within 30 days.
When you delete your account, all User Content and account information is permanently deleted within 30 days of the termination date. Backups are purged within 90 days.
We may retain anonymized, aggregate usage statistics indefinitely.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, access controls, rate limiting, and regular security reviews. For details, see our Security page.
No system is 100% secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to security@mirana1.com before public disclosure.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of your data.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data.
- Portability — export your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection / Restriction — limit or object to certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@mirana1.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. International Transfers
NewFramez is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. Where required by law (e.g., GDPR), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.
9. European Users (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under GDPR. Our legal basis for processing is:
- Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the Service.
- Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, and product improvement.
- Consent — where you have opted in to marketing communications or analytics.
Our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available for customers who require it.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us at privacy@mirana1.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
